Following the promotion of Julian Frankland to UK sales manager of StarragHeckert UK, the Brackley based all-European machine tool agency has appointed Nick Dye to take over as area sales manager for the North West of England Dye brings a significant level of project management as well as milling and mill/turning expertise from previous experience working as area sales manager for Tornos Technologies UK selling multi-spindle and CNC sliding head autos

This, following six years at Yamazen where, as area sales manager, he represented the Mitsubishi horizontal machining centre products and the Fadal range of equipment as well Tsugami sliding head machines.

Says StarragHeckert UK managing director, Paul Maynard: "When you look back over Nick's career this is the type of experience that fits directly into our equipment sales portfolio.

Nick started as a time-served apprentice and production engineer which led to service and commercial manager positions at Ringway Machine Tools representing high quality machines such as Voest Alpine.
