Critical welds demand 100% assurance that they meet all applicable standards This inspection needs to be done at fast speeds to meet cycle times, while insuring no defects are missed or false positives are found

Servo Robot announces the development of a new high speed digital 2000 Hz sensor capable of inspecting at 10 meters/minute for defects as small as.2mm.

In addition, due to a unique camera and processing technique, this system also measures the weld profile and compares it to pre-set tolerances.

The Flexcell system consists of a laser vision camera, controller and WinUser software.

The system can be interfaced to an automatic or robotic system and can measure welds ranging from arc to laser.

It has already been deployed successfully in several automotive plants.
