IIW visits Canadian welding robot provider

On August 29th, 2006, Servo Robot welcomed at its headquarters in Saint-Bruno, Quebec, Canada, members of Commission XII and IV of the International Institute of Welding.

On August 29th, 2006 Servo Robot welcomed at its headquarters in Saint-Bruno, Quebec, Canada, members of Commission XII and IV of the International Institute of Welding (IIW) during their Annual Conference in Quebec-city.

This half day tour consisted of about 40 members from 14 different countries led by Dr Lucas, chairman of Commission XII.

They participated in Servo-Robot's general and technical overview sessions as well as arc and laser technical presentations and then toured the facility where nine live demonstrations were shown.

At the end of the visit, Dr Lucas commented that the visitors were very impressed by the possibilities associated with laser vision technology, including in the inspection field.

The participants very much appreciated seeing the large variety of live demos and were impressed by Servo-Robot's wide range of products for various manufacturing solutions.
