Serial converters overcome distance barrier
You're stuck with two serial ports over 15 metres apart! You need to communicate - well now you can.
eNod integrates three advanced operating modes, allowing control of both static and dynamic processes.
eNod is a high-speed, highly accurate measuring transmitter, built using the latest generation of A/D convertors.
The transmitter offers a 1,200 measurement/second transmission rate, with a maximum resolution of one million divisions.
eNod is also a weighing controller, and integrates intelligent functions such as check-weighing, sorting and filling.
The device carries out measurement acquisition at very high speed and automatically calculates the weight value, which can then be directly integrated by the PLC.
eNod can be used to monitor manufacturing processes.
It allows the acquisition of values that are directly usable by any automated system (instantaneous measurement or peak values).
eNod includes RS232, RS485 and CANbus outputs, supporting MODBUS-RTU, SCMBUS and CANOpen protocols.
Each module has two logical inputs and outputs, allowing synchronisation with a PLC and alarm management.
To make eNod easier to install, Scaime also offers eNodView, a PC freeware for the set-up and calibration of the device, measurement acquisition and digital filtering simulation.
