Packaging Machinery Firm's New Design
Engineer
Standard-Knapp has appointed Jim Mulligan to the position of senior design engineer.
Standard-Knapp has appointed Jim Mulligan to the position of senior design engineer In his new role, Mulligan is responsible for developing packaging machinery to best meet the specific requirements of Standard-Knapp's diverse clients
Art Tanner, president of Standard-Knapp, said: "Our product development efforts focus on producing designs that are robust for the 24-hour, seven days-a-week operations where high uptime and short mean-time-to-repair are critical.
Jim's tremendous industry experience will help Standard-Knapp to achieve these objectives." With more than 13 years of experience designing high-speed, automated assembly and test equipment and 20 years as a licensed electrician with knowledge of PLC programming, Mulligan also has previous packaging industry knowledge to add to his experience in designing pneumatic, mechanical and robotic pack-out systems.
