Low-backlash planetary gears offer
longer life
Low-backlash planetary gears with higher torsional stiffness and stability offer a longer operational life for the output shaft bearings.
The new Stober PH series satisfied market requirements for low-backlash planetary gears with higher torsional stiffness and stability together with a longer operational life for the output shaft bearings The internal workings of this compact design draw on the proven technology of helical cut gears in existing planetary gearboxes

Servo converter series software is compatible
Servo converter series software is fully compatible with exisiting vector controlled frequency inverters for drives at reasonable cost and for high dynamic drives.
The output shaft is designed as a flange according to ISO 9409.
As a result it is possible to directly bolt on pinions, gearbelt pulleys, transmission shafts, rotary actuators, or rotary tables.
Expensive shaft hub connections such as shrink discs are no longer necessary.
The gearbox series consists of 6 sizes with torques from 100 to 6,000Nm.
Exact gear ratios can be selected in the range of 5 to 100.
The standard model already has a backlash of 3 arc minutes, and can be easily reduced to 1 arc minute.
These characteristics of the new PH planetary gear series are especially suited to drive solutions demanding the highest standards for smooth running, precision and reliability.
