Precision manufacture of components such as the chain guide and hardened and ground involute helical gears, in a gear assembly permanently immersed in oil, promote maintenance-free long life.
Brakes, for example, are designed for one million full load cycles before the need for the first adjustment.
Productivity is promoted by dual speed 2/8 pole motors, precision calibrated high strength chains and durable brake/clutch linings.
The CX series hoists are modular in concept.
Where components do require replacement, or the hoist needs upgrading, new components are easy to install so the hoist is quickly returned to service.
Customisation to site conditions is also possible.
Motors are available for 50Hz or 60Hz operation in a range of voltages.
Chain lengths are variable to suit the application and users have the option of fixed position or variable hoist limit switches.
Hoists are the workhorses of many engineering, construction and logistics operations.
Street's CX series hoist is part of an ongoing programme to offer series produced hoists to meet every need in the 0.25 tonnes to 100 tonne range.
All hoists are of advanced design and modular in construction to ensure high efficiency, reliability and the flexibility to meet individual client needs.
The programme will make Street a strong challenger in all market sectors.
The introduction of the CX chain hoist, launched at Promat, Chicago on February 12, is the second stage in Street's strategy to offer a complete range of pre-engineered hoists from 0.25 tonnes to 100 tonnes.
