Punch/laser machine rebuilder's business
climbs
Specialising in the rebuilding of Trumpf CNC punch and laser machines, Severn Manufacturing reports that last years record GBP 3.1million turnover would be bettered.
Following recent reorganisation, Severn Manufacturing Systems - formerly trading as Severn-Broziat - report improved half-year results, and a second-half forecast indicating that last years record GBP 3.1million turnover at year end July 2004 will not stand for long Severn Manufacturing Systems specialise in the rebuilding and refurbishment of Trumpf punching and laser machines; and MD Dave McNally attributes much of his companys current success to the recent restructuring and realignment that has gone on within this market

This has been a major factor in our success - for example it has enabled us to sell seven laser and three punching machines in the last ten weeks alone." Brian Lewis, managing director of Trumpf - UK - endorses Severn Manufacturing's new status.
He states: "Third party selling and servicing of second-hand machines does concern manufacturers such as ourselves, because the equipment still has our nameplate on it for all to see.
