A drum mixing unit tumbles a drum end to end to offer a fast and efficient way of mixing chemicals and achieve a thorough mix in a short time.

STS Safety Trolley Systems has introduced its DMU01 Drum Mixer.

It tumbles a drum end to end to offer a fast and efficient way of mixing chemicals, achieving a thorough mix in a short time.

The unit is designed so that it is easy to load the drum into the rotating head using one of the STS range of de-palletising units.

This allows a pallet of drums to be placed next to the mixing unit and one operator to do all the loading safely and in compliance with the regulations.

The system features an interlocked front gate for safety.

It can be supplied as either an electric or air-operated unit, with the latter option suitable for use in hazardous atmospheres.
