The standard termination of the Telergon cam switches is the cage clamp, however special terminations ranging from push on connections to nut and bolt fastening are available.
Customised connections can also be developed to suit specific needs and applications.
All connections are available with an IP20 level of protection.
Exhibiting versatility, a wide range of accessories and options are available ranging from IP65 enclosures to pad lockable handles, key operated switches, DIN rail mount switches, push to turn switches, one way rotation, door interlock devices and so on.
The switches' mechanical structure is contained in separate switching chambers with two cam-operated contacts in each chamber.
Each contact is silver alloy plated and provides an exceptionally long mechanical life.
Their connection terminals are provided with captive sire clamp screws, which facilitates easier installation.
Compared to competitors' units, Telergon's range of cam switches is wide and comprehensive, with an updated design and a complete range of accessories, which include its unique, removable IP20 terminal protection and improved design ergonomic handles.
The whole range is manufactured according to IEC 60947-3, UNE-EN 60947-3, CSA 22.2-14, and UL 508 standards, and is fully RoHS compliant.
