Schubert surge in demand from drinks
Schubert, the automated packaging system specialist, is reporting a huge surge in demand for its machines following a substantial series of new orders from drinks manufacturers
Some of the top names in the global brewing and beverage industry will shortly take delivery of a number of Schubert systems for a wide range of packaging applications, which include packing a variety of bottle sizes into different formats of multi-pack clusters, cartons and trays The boom in new business from the drinks sector has already prompted Schubert to start work on expanding its production facility

Visitors to the Total Processing and Packaging Show at Birmingham's NEC (May 15-18) will be able to see the flexibility of a Schubert automated packaging system as it packs drinking yoghurt in a variety of formats at speeds of up to 300 bottles a minute on Stand 4440 in Hall 4.
The compact TLM machine will demonstrate how a series of 4-axis robots can rapidly pick and place bottles, grouping them together ready for loading into multi-pack cartons, also erected by 2-axis robots within the system.
Schubert UK, based in Meriden, near Coventry, provides a range of services including sales project management and consultancy, technical support and spares.
Recent UK contracts have been won from the dairy, confectionery, bakery, snack food, drinks, healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
