Market predictions are in favor of test solutions sustained by advanced quality software.
According to a January 2007 AMR Research study, manufacturing is claiming the top spot in application software budgets, ahead of enterprise resource planning (ERP).
The study emphasized that software applications that reduce manufacturing cycle times, catch quality issues during production rather than after, support lean inventory-management, and keep assets running at their optimal levels will all see an increased level of investment this year.
