Insert that has a high wear resistant coating with a chip resistant layer on an exceptionally tough substrate base guarantees exceptional performance under variable cutting conditions.

The UK's fastest growing carbide tooling company TaeguTec, has launched the new TT7400 grade insert for its T-Drill line.

Strengthening the already formidable T-Drill family, the TT7400 consists a high wear resistant coating with a chip resistant layer on an exceptionally tough substrate base.

This combination guarantees exceptional performance at high and medium machining ranges under variable cutting conditions.

The new addition to the twisted hole through coolant T-Drill family is ideal for general steel machining applications as well as cast iron, stainless steel and exotic alloys.

The increased speeds and feeds of the new insert significantly improve productivity for the T-Drill line whilst extending tool life considerably.

The new TT7400 provides significant advantages on larger size of drill diameters from 32 - 50mm diameter.
