Pressed ceramic inserts up cutting performance
To be launched at MACH 2002 is a product that will revolutionise the metal cutting industry's use of ceramic inserts for turning and grooving, dramati- cally improving tool-life and cutting speeds.
This is credit to Mr O'Byrne who opened the Taegutec UK office in 2000 and started alone with blank sheet of paper, a car and mobile phone.
Six years later and Ronnie has built a strong and close knit team.
Working with an established network of distributors, the UK operation has been turned into a multi-million pound business.
With an average year on year growth rate of 40%, the company has built a strong foothold in the UK cutting tool industry.
This will undoubtedly continue with the South Korean company's exceptional rate of product development.
Ronnie is very keen golfer that has represented his club at county level over a number of years and is a well known public speaker and individual member of the Robert Burns World Federation, he will be moving early next year to head up operations at Iscar Canada.
Like TaeguTec, Iscar is a member of the IMC group of companies and Ronnie and his family are relishing the move and opportunity.
Considered as the next progressive step in Mr O'Byrne's glittering career, Ronnie will undoubtedly extend the success he has brought to the UK market to the IMC group's operations in North America.
Replacing Ronnie at the helm of TaeguTec UK will be the current and longstanding sales managers, Mr John Conlon and Mr Alan Powell.
TaeguTec would like to wish John and Alan every success in their new posts, but above all would like to wish Ronnie and his family a very successful and fruitful future.
Good Luck Ronnie!!.
