As part of its commitment to satisfying customer demands, TaeguTec has launched the new LS Mill Plus cutting tool.

As part of its commitment to satisfying customer demands, TaeguTec has launched the new LS Mill Plus cutting tool The LS Mill Plus has double sided inserts and an extremely secure screw clamping system that has been specifically developed to offer end users economical and stable machining

The new cutter has a high positive insert geometry and dimple chip breaker that lowers the cutting forces and temperature resulting extended tool life.

The LS Mill Plus also has a screw hole that incorporates a new design that further strengthens the insert clamping.

The new cutter suitable for machining a wide variety of materials and the various cutters are available in fine and coarse pitches with 6 and 8 edged insert options for economical machining.

The new LS Mill Plus is an ideal alternative to ISO cutters using SEKN, SPKN and TPKN inserts with a high positive chip former geometry in the double sided inserts to deliver exceptional economy and productivity.

The LS Mill Plus has the same angled screw system as its predecessor the LS Mill, and it allows an increased feed per tooth.

The LS Mill Plus is compatible with TaeguTec's new insert grades, the TT9080, TT7800 and TT7080 for steel machining and the new Topal TT6030 and BiCo TT6290 grades that guarantee high performance in cast iron milling applications.

As part of the company's global expansion program, TaeguTec has launched a number of new insert grades that are compatible with the LS Mill Plus.

The TT6030 has been developed for high productivity general cast iron milling whilst the TT6290 CVD (MTCVD TiCN/Alumina/TiN) +PVD double coated grade has been designed to machine gray cast iron at high speeds and feed rates.

The new TT9080 TiAlN/TiN Nano coated grade is the optimum solution for steels, high-temperature alloys and cast iron machining operations.

Further product launches include a wide variety of new grades for machining steel and stainless steel.

The TT8030 is a general grade for a vast range of steel and stainless steel milling operations.

The new TT7800 is a CVD coated grade suitable for heavy duty milling of steel, alloy steel and stainless steel.

The durability and toughness of this insert grade give it a remarkable level of wear resistance.
