Lower price ceramic inserts are pressed to size
What is believed to be a ground-breaking new product - 'As Pressed' ready-sized ceramic inserts - will be launched at MACH 2002. The inserts are some 20% lower in cost and life increased by 30%.
The exciting new MultiMill has four teeth with a 46 degree helix angle and this combines with two serrated flutes and two continuous flutes to accommodate both rough and finish machining.
The new design decreases vibration and increases cutting efficiency when working under high load conditions.
The reduced vibration and efficiency achieve an excellent surface finish whilst reducing noise and enhancing overall performance.
The new MultiMill is a versatile cutter that is suited to machining a wide range of steels, titanium, stainless steel, inconel and high temperature alloys.
Demonstrating excellent chip evacuation and performance that increases tool life considerably, the new TaeguTec MultiMill can comfortably machine materials up to a hardness level of 60HRc.
In tests the MultiMill has more than doubled tool life over competitor products whilst increasing productivity threefold.
