"As one of the few e-learning providers with a global presence, TIS's strategy contrasts with that of UK-focused e-learning developers of whatever size," he continued.
"Our strategy is to service the global market - which enables us to attract numerous Fortune 500 clients; to bring the learning from all our segments and global geographies to our clients, and to meet their needs with a local team with a local face and understanding of local issues." Manoj Kutty, TIS's President of worldwide sales and marketing, commented: "We are entering a new phase in our development within the UK and European markets.
The revised organisation structure, in the wake of Sambit's departure, should help us to grow our market share by leveraging global best practices in sales and marketing." He added: "In 2004, TIS won four international awards and were short listed for several others - which is a testament to the quality of our products.
We added 60 new major clients worldwide - including 12 in the UK alone.

"For example, an increasing proportion of our e-learning programmes' design work is being carried out in the UK and, with the continued expansion of the TIS UK team, we now have the capability to service most of our clients' needs from within the UK.".
