Specially designed for gundrilling of high-precision holes in ejector sleeves, medical and aerospace components, a deep-hole gundrilling machines achieves speeds from 1,000 to 35,000 rev/min.

Specially designed for gundrilling of high-precision holes in ejector sleeves, medical and aerospace components, TBT Gundrilling division/Nagel offers new deep-hole gundrilling machines with achievable speeds ranging from 1,000 to 35,000 rev/min.

These spindles are direct drive units which have been specially designed for the forces and coolant pressures which are deephole gundrilling specific.

The lack of the drive belts and the spindle integrated coolant coupling eliminate external vibrations, leading to higher hole quality, productivity, and tool life.

The special designed coolant couplings allow the combination of extreme spindle speeds with through the tool coolant pressures up to 3,000 lb/in2.

Automatic tool clamping systems are optional when automatic tool changers are required for the machine.

The gundrilling machines are custom build and utilize linear roller guideways and precision ballscrews.

They can be fitted to almost any drill depth, ranging from 125mm to over 4000mm.

Optional features include full CNC, multiple axis drilling, compound angle drilling, conventional machining, etc * About TBT - TBT is a world-wide manufacturer of standard and special gundrilling machines and gundrill tools.

As part of the Nagel group of companies TBT has a world-wide presence and supports their client base on deephole, gundrilling and BTA drilling applications.
