Tecnomatix Technologies has received additional orders from TWR, a leading European automotive design, engineering and manufacturing consultancy.

Tecnomatix Technologies, the Manufacturing Process Management (MPM) software solutions supplier, has received additional orders from TWR, the leading European automotive design, engineering and manufacturing consultancy TWR has been using Tecnomatix eMPowerT solutions for about two years

With a customer base including, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Renault and Volvo, TWR has built up a key role in the creation of niche vehicles.

This latest investment extends its eMPower MPM implementation to cover the entire manufacturing process development lifecycle, from process planning through to detailed design and execution.

This will enable TWR to offer accelerated new model development, which is a growing challenge in the niche sector in which the company specialises.

Craig Wilson, Managing Director of TWR describes Tecnomatix as the ideal partner to help develop and deploy solutions to maximise manufacturing potential, saying: "We're constantly searching for the market's best digital tools and solutions, and upgrading our capabilities.

The Tecnomatix eMPower MPM suite enables us to speed productivity without sacrificing quality.

eMPower is the most mature offering that we could see, and we have been particularly happy over the past two years with the professionalism and expertise of the Tecnomatix services organisation.

TWR is now adding to its use of Tecnomatix eMPower by implementing the following MPM solutions: * eM-Planner -- a collaborative environment for planning manufacturing processes.

* eM-Assembler -- which facilitates part assembly and disassembly planning processes.

* eM-Human -- providing a wide-range of 3D virtual human models that allow accurate simulation of manual tasks, as well as the analysis of ergonomics and assembly time.

* eM-Workplace -- integrating detailed layout design and material flow simulation in a single environment.

* eM-Reports -- enabling users of any level experience to access and transform manufacturing data into Web-based reports.

Commenting on this latest success, Harel Beit-On, chairman and CEO, Tecnomatix Technologies said: "More and more world-leading automotive manufacturers like TWR are turning to Tecnomatix eMPower solutions for their manufacturing strategies.

With every new customer and successful implementation, Tecnomatix is not only solidifying its position as the de facto market leader, but further entrenching MPM as the defining technology for automotive manufacturers around the world.".
