PCB assembly instructions are paperless
Integrated, real-time knowledge management capabilities and eMPower PCB Assembly and Test solutions will implement paperless work instructions for circuit board assembly.
Tecnomatix Technologies, the driving force in Manufacturing Process Management (MPM) solutions, has announced that leading electronic manufacturing services provider Victron has purchased US$200,000 of Tecnomatix eMPower solutions to lower production costs and increase quality and throughput The company purchased licenses for software and services from the eMPower Execution Systems and eMPower PCB Assembly and Test suites from Tecnomatix Unicam, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tecnomatix Technologies

Victron will now be able to ensure that products follow a defined route; track the details of each board through every step of the process; identify bottlenecks and process issues immediately; use paperless documentation for hand assembly and first article inspection; and generate real-time reports for SPC and root cause analysis.
