Tecnomatix Technologies and Fuji Machine Manufacturing Company, are working to provide existing Fujicam customers with a seamless connection to Fuji SMT equipment.

Tecnomatix Technologies, the Manufacturing Process Management (MPM) software solutions supplier, and Fuji Machine Manufacturing Company, are working together to provide existing Fujicam customers with a seamless connection to Fuji SMT equipment and other SMT vendor equipment that will significantly extend the current SMT programming capabilities for mutual customers Through this cooperation, which dates back to 1998, Fuji Machine and Tecnomatix Unicam are delivering additional business value to mutual customers with: * The available Fuji Flexa programming solution, providing balancing and optimisation for Fuji machines

* The available Tecnomatix Unicam eM-Assembly Expert platform for multi-vendor machine programming, advanced line optimisation and comprehensive shop floor documentation.

An easy-to-use, seamless connection between these distinct solutions allows Fujicam customers to migrate forward while respecting their pace of conversion.

Initially the two companies will provide a clear upgrade path.

Migrations are expected to begin in March 2003 on completion of connectivity trials.

To ensure customer success, Applications and Support Engineering staffs will be available to assist in these conversions as requested.

This exclusive partnership between Tecnomatix Unicam and Fuji Machine will provide easy migration of existing Job data from FujiCam, continued integration between Tecnomatix Unicam programming solutions and the Fuji Flexa shop floor operators' kit, and continued support of the Fujicam application during the migration period.
