Chinese electronics group adopts MPM
Tecnomatix has announced that Artesyn Technologies will use eMPower solutions to shorten new product introduction times and support a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment in China.
Tecnomatix, the driving force in Manufacturing Process Management (MPM), has announced that Artesyn Technologies will use eMPower solutions from Tecnomatix to shorten new product introduction (NPI) times and support a high-mix, low-volume (HMLV) manufacturing environment for its electronics assembly processes in the company's China-based operations Artesyn handles more than 800 different kinds of products per year in its Zhong Shan facility, making rapid NPI and engineering change request response critical to successful HMLV operations
