The Leicestershire label and narrow web printer, is the UK's first-ever double prize winner in the awards.
Founded in 1990 the annual competition recognises and rewards outstanding achievement in label print.
Entries from around the world this year totalled more than 1,000.
Labelsco's winning entries were self-adhesive back and front labels for Tesco Christmas Turkey Gravy and a shampoo sachet.
The labels won the flexo colour process award and were printed by UV flexography in four-colour process, plus gold on a self-adhesive polyethylene label stock.
The sachet incorporated a photo-quality image of a face, as well as extensive multilingual text directions for use and was printed in UV flexo in six colours.
This type of work is traditionally printed gravure but was executed on a narrow-web label press with no quality compromise, according to Tesa.
Both products involved a high degree of complexity including graphics and images but perfect process colour printing was achieved due to the balance of thickness consistency, recovery and softness exhibited by Tesa 52117 Softprint plate mounting tapes, claimed the company.
An assortment of 380um plate mounting tapes is offered by Tesa to meet demands in the narrow and mid-web printing industries.
Medium hard foam densities are designed to print images with a high share of solids, whilst softer grades are suited to printing images with fine tone vignettes.
All the grades can be used on plates of 1.7mm thickness and above down to 1.14mm.
The tapes feature tailored adhesive systems that ensure high bonding during printing and enable safe demounting without damaging plates.
Customers using Tesa Softprint also report the possibility to run machines faster due to the very high recovery properties of the tapes even when printing critical-quality images as evidenced by Labelsco, said Tesa.
Softprint tapes also helped Tesa pick up a bronze award in the supplier category at the 2006 EFTA awards.
