Ideal visual inspection tool for service and maintenance engineers, builders and plumbers, a fibre optic system allows inaccessible locations to be viewed.

The new testo 318 fiberscope, termed "TestoView", is the ideal visual inspection tool for service and maintenance engineers, builders and plumbers Simply insert the flexible cable inside the unit and look through the hand-held eyepiece to view the interior

The TestoView enables easy diagnosis of maintenance and repair problems in even the toughest applications, due to high quality build and innovative design.

The technology used is a patented polymer fiber-optic bonded to a pair of glass lenses.

The TestoView is available in two models with cable lengths of 914 mm or 457 mm.

Its high-powered lens clearly focuses on objects as close as 19 mm, while a powerful halogen lamp illuminates dark areas with the push of a button.

The cable and sealed lens can be immersed in liquids and has a radius of 203mm so is flexible enough to reach into inaccessible areas avoiding dismantling of machinery and equipment, saving you time and money.

The TestoView one hand comfort grip handle is high impact ABS and as a result is perfect for industrial applications.

Testo's Managing Director, Barry Whittaker, states: "From what people are saying about the TestoView I believe this is the ideal inspection tool for many engineers across a wide range of applications, and is a cost-effective alternative to the traditional more expensive boroscope" Two accessories are available for the TestoView.

The clip-on 45deg mirror allows you to view objects which are perpendicular to the testo 318 shaft and is ideal for examining closed tubular spaces.

The clip-on magnet tip is a clever invention to pick up nuts, bolts and screws that may have been dropped in inaccessible places.
