The Testo 826 Quicktemp is a versatile new thermometer for the food industry, which can handle both noncontact screening and core temperature monitoring Four versions of the handy, pocket-sized Testo 826 ensure rapid food temperature measurement in an economical, robust, hygienic instrument, with an optical temperature alarm on both upper and lower limits

The 826 Quicktemp thermometer is designed for long life and durability in a busy working place, which is often a harsh environment.

Versions T3 and T4 perform two functions in one; infrared non-contact temperature screening over a range of -50 to +400C, with no damage to product packaging; and core temperature measurement, using a slim yet robust probe with a contact range of -50 to +230C.

The T4 top of the range version includes an extra, audible alarm to detect temperatures exceeding the specified limits, and laser sighting to define the measurement location.

T3 and T4 versions also come with a pre-borer to allow the penetration probe to be used with frozen food.

For applications where temperature screening alone is required, version T1 provides fast non-contact measurement by infra-red method, without disturbing packaging.

The T2 version has, in addition, a high accuracy laser sight and an audible alarm.

Each of the four versions can be made totally waterproof by using the dishwasher safe hygienic TopSafe case from Testo.

Testo also offers a comprehensive calibration service for temperature measurements over the range of -18 to +300C. Request a free brochure from Testo ...
