Precision machinist upped turnover by
20%
Operating 17 CNC machines, a UK subcontractor producing precision turned parts reports a 20 per cent increase in turnover during 2003, owing to its fast response to customer enquiries.
Target Precision, the Harlow (Essex) based precision turned parts specialist, reports a 20 per cent increase in turnover during 2003, for the whole company "Our ability to react quickly to customer demand - and to satisfy those demands with the cost-effective one-hit machining of precision mill-turn parts - is due as much to our 'can-do' attitude as to the heavy investment we have made in CNC turning technology," comments managing director Garry Plummer
"The customer is always king, and sub-contractors today have to not only be suitably equipped to meet ever-stringent delivery requirements, but they also have to consistently produce cost-competitive, high-quality parts.
Our increased business levels reflect the fact that we continue to do exactly that and have the mindset to meet every demand placed on us." Target Precision has a portfolio of 17 CNC machines at its 14,600ft2 site.
