Offering a large build-volume capacity, a selective laser sintering system provides a competitive advantage to on projects that involve multiple large components.

3D Systems Corporation, a leading provider of rapid 3D printing, prototyping and manufacturing solutions, has sold four more SLS systems to ARRK Corporation in Japan ARRK, a global company headquartered in Osaka, Japan, is a leading provider of rapid prototyping, tooling and molding solutions to the automotive, electronics and aerospace industries

ARRK recently purchased its third Sinterstation Pro 230 SLS system as well as three Sinterstation HiQ+HS SLS systems, enabling a fast, accurate build of high-quality parts for its growing list of global customers.

With its large build-volume capacity, the Sinterstation Pro SLS system provides a competitive advantage to ARRK on projects that involve multiple large components.

The Sinterstation HiQ SLS systems were acquired for ease of part delivery, flexibility in using newer materials such as our new, tough Duraform EX materials and quick turnaround for projects involving smaller parts.

ARRK selected SLS systems from 3D Systems because it continues to recognise the machines' unique ability to produce high-quality parts for the demanding customers they serve.

The durability of the parts is valuable to ARRK's customers, and ARRK's ability to produce large parts in a single build increases overall accuracy and eliminates manual labor associated with bonding smaller sections together and the related software preparation work dissecting larger parts into sections.

3D Systems' new generation of rapid manufacturing and prototyping systems uses reliable, intelligent technology to transform three-dimensional digital media into accurate, ready-to-use plastics parts.

These systems build complex geometrical shapes with injection-molded like durability for challenging functional applications at a speed that is faster than conventional methods.

They are ideal for automotive, motorsports, aerospace and other industries requiring rapid turn-around time for small to extra-large plastics parts.

"The purchase of four more of our new generation SLS systems by a world-class rapid manufacturing leader like ARRK Corporation demonstrates that our cutting-edge technology is transforming the way our customers and service providers approach the entire manufacturing process," said Abe Reichental, 3D Systems' president and chief executive officer.

"Because our manufacturing-capable systems and materials can provide ready-to-use injection molding like quality parts without the need to invest in timely and costly tooling, our customers are able to achieve a higher degree of excellence and enhance their competitive edge.

We are delighted that ARRK chose our solutions again and that the systems will indeed contribute toward improving their 'bottom line'." * About 3D Systems Corporation - 3D Systems is a leading provider of rapid 3D printing, prototyping and manufacturing solutions.

Its systems and materials reduce the time and cost of designing products and facilitate direct and indirect manufacturing by creating actual parts directly from digital input.

These solutions are used for design communication and prototyping as well as for production of functional end-use parts.
