Tangible Express is expanding its capacity with this a large systems order to support the recent launch of its Tangible Alliance Program

3D Systems Corporation, a leading provider of Rapid 3-D Modelling, Prototyping and Manufacturing solutions, has received an order for ten systems from Tangible Express of Springville, Utah Tangible Express, a pioneer in Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing Fractional Ownership, is expanding its capacity with this large systems order to support the recent launch of its Tangible Alliance Program (TAP)

This new and innovative hosted fractional ownership solution enables customers to have access to the exact amount of Rapid Prototyping and Rapid Manufacturing capacity they need without the associated operating, training, maintenance, facilities and service costs.

Tangible Express already owns and operates a fleet of systems which includes several Viper Pro SLA and Sinterstation HiQ HS SLS Systems.

The order of ten state-of-the-art systems includes six Viper Pro SLA Systems, three Sinterstation HiQ HS SLS Systems and a Viper SLA System.

This purchase expands Tangible Express materials portfolio through additional dedicated machines and materials combinations and enhances its ability to deliver the most comprehensive 3D Systems supplied material selection for parts in the industry.

"This order not only creates more available inventory, but it allows us to offer our users a turnaround time unheard of in the industry," said Alex Linde, president and chief operating officer of Tangible Express, which recently announced it was expanding its operations to a new facility to provide enough room for the systems order.

"This order adds 16 manufacturing platforms of 3D Systems' latest, most productive and accurate systems for us to build owners' orders on," added David McInnis, Tangible's founder and chief executive officer.

"We are deliberately investing in this additional capacity now so that we could meet demand and offer our fractional owners a significantly reduced lead-time".

"Our goal is to set a new industry standard by producing owners' builds within hours instead of the current industry practice, which is days".

As part of 3D Systems' commitment to its customers' success, the company is providing dedicate on-site service to Tangible Express, maximising systems' performance and up-time.

"We are delighted to support such an innovative company as Tangible Express and are proud that they chose 3D Systems as the backbone of their fractional ownership program," said Abe Reichental, 3D Systems' president and chief executive officer.

"By choosing to build their fractional ownership business model based on our latest, high-quality and accurate Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing Systems, Tangible Express can deliver to its fractional owners cutting-edge technology at an affordable price as they need it and when they need it".

"We believe that the combination of our latest Systems and Materials along with Tangible Express' innovative way of delivering it to the marketplace as fractional ownership of both SLA and SLS technologies will open new price-sensitive market segments not currently addressed by our solutions".
