Rapid News Publications, organisers of the TCT 2006 Conference and Exhibition and publishers of the TCT Magazine are pleased to announce a strategic agreement with the GTMA This relationship will develop a range of initiatives aimed at increasing awareness and encouraging the adoption of RPD technologies within the GTMA membership and also to raise the visibility of GTMA and its members in the RPD sector

A key aspect of this partnership is the GTMA support for the TCT 2006 Conference and Exhibition.

The event takes place on September 19/20th at the Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon, Warwickshire.

and will showcase the latest solutions from the RPD sector backed with real world examples of the benefits of adopting the technologies at Europe's largest Rapid Manufacturing Conference.

The endorsement of GTMA underlines the importance of the RPD sector to the continued development of UK Engineering and Manufacturing Sectors.

GTMA Members will be offered reduced entrance fees for the conference Julia Moore, GTMA CEO commented; "The ever-increasing rate of product development, together with the commercial pressure to bring products to market ahead of the competition, makes it essential for engineers and manufacturers to squeeze the maximum productivity out of every minute of production time - by using the latest technology, the most advanced processes and the newest materials.

Many GTMA members, as participants in supply chains in all major manufacturing sectors, are already involved in Rapid Product Development - this new relationship, between the association and Rapid News Publications will ensure that all our members have access to the latest information, giving them a real competitive edge." In addition to the initiatives focused on the event, GTMA will also be contributing editorial articles to the TCT magazine looking at the current issues in UK Manufacturing and Supply Chain and how to achieve the competitive edge.

A free subscription will also be made available to all GTMA member companies.
