The TCT 2007 exhibition will feature more than 100 suppliers from the world of rapid product development (RPD) in Coventry, 26th - 27th September 2007.

A completely new and exciting feature for exhibition visitors in 2007 is the introduction of two free of charge seminar sessions, which will take place on both days of the show and will be held within a purpose-built seminar theatre in the main exhibition hall.
The morning session, organised and promoted in conjunction with the RPMA and West Midlands Technology Network, is designed to give newcomers to "rapid" technologies the opportunity to get up to speed as fast as possible and to be aware of how they can best access them.
The first of the mornings presentations 'Rapid Fundamentals', presented by Graham Tromans from the RPMA and Loughborough University will give an hour-long overview of all of the "rapid" technologies available including SLA, SLS, FDM, Concept Modelling and Additive Metals systems, outlining what benefits they can bring to businesses adopting them.
The second of the morning presentations, 'Technology Transfer' will given by Clive Percival of the West Midlands Technology Network and the University of Wolverhampton, and will focus on technology transfer between Higher Education Institutions and small-to-medium sized businesses.
Mr Percival will demonstrate how the WMTN partners have worked with many companies to introduce new products, processes and technologies.
As an antidote to the main Rapid Manufacturing Conference, which is running alongside the exhibition and focuses on additive technologies, the afternoon session held in the theatre will be promoted as the 'Rapid Machining Forum - Techniques for Rapid Manufacturing'.
This forum will promote how it is possible to manufacture parts directly using advanced CAM software and milling techniques.
Organised in association with the GTMA, content for this session will be driven by leading users and writers of CAM software technology, demonstrating what is possible now with real examples of end-use parts machined directly from the raw material.
The "Rapid Machining Forum" provides a platform for these companies to demonstrate their competiveness with RPandM additive techniques.
During each afternoon of TCT, five "Rapid Machining" papers will be presented by various exhibiting companies, and will be chaired by the GTMA.
The TCT Conference and Exhibition is the most important event on the 2007 calendar for design and manufacturing professionals in the UK and is the only UK event focused on providing solutions for accelerating products to market.
