Strong arms for tough, touch monitors are ideal for command and control

New rugged monitor arms for Trident's rugged touch monitors feature high stability allied to full adjustability, an outstanding combination of characteristics for Command and Control applications The Ergotron DS400 range of desk mounting monitor arms is ideal for use with the Trident OEM touch monitor range, allowing full adjustability but remaining precisely located even under heavy-handed touch-screen operation, and conditions of considerable movement, such as at sea

The Ergotron DS400 monitor mounting arm features swivel and tilt action, height adjustment, and can handle monitors weighing up to 12kg.

When mounted on a DS400 monitors can be used in a portrait or landscape configuration.

Ergotron arms are fully compatible with the Trident range of standard rugged LCD (TFT) touch monitors.

The standard range for Command and Control includes the 15" Silhouette and the 17" Jupiter, offered with capacitative or resistive touch screens, a VGA interface and flexible mounting options based on the VESA mount.

The monitors are solidly made and the optional black finish resists marks and grime.

They are based on 250cd/m2 brightness XGA or SXGA resolution TFTs and are supplied without a manufacturer's logo for true OEM use.

Trident also offers 10.4" and 12" sizes, as well as a non-touch 18" monitor.

For ultra-rugged applications, including sea-going systems, a range of aluminium enclosed LCD TFT monitors is available, compatible with the Ergotron arms, in sizes from 10.4" to 21.3".

The inherent ruggedness of the range partly stems from construction in machined aluminium and many of the defence variants have been awarded NATO codification.

These screens are based on high quality TFTs from top manufacturers, and are available with capacitative or resistive touch screen capability.
