New, Wide Format, A4 Printer Mechanism for Medical Instruments and Wide Format Kiosk Applications

Trident is introducing a highly accurate thermal printing mechanism designed to meet the exacting standards of medical instruments.

The MTM 210 is a new A4 size thermal printing mechanism ideally suited to applications such as information kiosks printing maps, invoices, statements, timetables, graphs and other wide A4 format documents, as well as medical instruments.

The Custom Engineering MTM 210 from Trident provides highly accurate printing at speeds of 50, 25, 12.5 and 6.25 mm/second with a resolution of 200dpi.

The new printer mechanism is fitted with paper detection, notch and head open sensors as well as a 6 wire stepper motor to ensure accurate paper throughput.

The slow print setting of 6.25 mm/sec and highly accurate throughput makes this print mechanism ideal for medical applications such as electro-cardiographs.

MTM 210 has an operating voltage of 24V in temperatures from 00C up to 500C and in humidity levels of 20 to 85%.

This ultra compact mechanism is just 47mm thick.

The MTM210 features RS232 serial, parallel or USB interfaces.

Paper roll holders and control boards are available as an option.
