Informatics conference in the Middle East
Thermo Fisher Scientific will host a complimentary informatics software user conference in Dubai, Middle East, to showcase new and future developments in Thermo Scientific informatics solutions.
Consequently, a plant engineer or operator can analyze and track data trends, as well as make decisions about data from the different locations throughout the production process.
These results are critical in optimizing processes and highlighting problems before they occur.
By sending information directly from PI to SampleManager, the need to re-type recorded information is eliminated, thereby eliminating the risk of errors that may be introduced by manual transcription.
The result is a better-controlled process, reduced product loss and greater productivity.
Approximately 45,000 daily users use SampleManager LIMS to support their laboratory operations in 43 countries (in 20 different languages) around the world, making it one of the most established and industrially-robust LIMS on the market.
The solution's strength is in integrating laboratory operations into the corporate enterprise.
Industries served include manufacturing, chemicals and process, pharmaceutical, food and beverages, water, environmental and biotechnology.
OSIsoft, founded in 1980, is the leading provider of real-time information management systems to manufacturing.
Over 5,000 PI Systems (PI) from OSIsoft are installed in industries such as chemicals, oil and gas, power and utilities, pulp and paper, food and beverage, mining and metals, water, and pharmaceuticals.
PI collects real-time data from various automation sources, stores it in a high performance data archive and provides server applications and Microsoft based clients to analyze and access the PI data.
PI also interfaces to e-business or advanced control applications that require real-time or historical data. Request a free brochure from Thermo Fisher Scientific Informatics ...
