The informatics business of Thermo Electron Corporation has announced the program for this year's European conference on laboratory informatics and automation.

New for 2003 will be a product stream for the award-winning eRecordManager solution and introductory presentations of GRAMS A/I spectral data processing package.
Following the merger with sister business Thermo Galactic, Thermo has added desktop spectroscopy software for data processing, data management, 3D data viewing, spectral reference databases, and chemometrics to its informatics portfolio.
Attendees will also learn more about the recently formed and ongoing collaboration with IBM Life Sciences, who have a representative speaking as part of the program.
As in previous years, there will be language streams, presentations and breakout sessions in French and Spanish, as well as English.
The venue, Barcelo Hotel Sants, is centrally located near to the main railway station, with a direct line to Barcelona airport and a single stop from Plaza Catalunya.
