SCARA robots demonstrated live

Robot picks and places at circular conveyors
Operating some 1.4 times faster than before, a SCARA robot offers an arc conveyor synchronisation facility, so is able to complete pick and place functions on circular and straight conveyors.
Both robots were part of the Robotics Demonstration Area, which featured working industrial robots in a 'live' environment.
The SR-1054HSP pieced together a jigsaw that spelt out the Wittmann name - illustrating its high-speed pick and place function.
The SR-424HSP, on the other hand, was playing draughts with a Kawasaki six axis robot.
Both demonstrations illustrated the robots' extreme accuracy; indeed the SR-424HSP offers repeatability of +/-0.03mm and the SR-1054HSP +/-0.02mm.
The SR-424HSP has an arm length of 420mm while the SR-1054HSP's offers 1050mm and payloads are 3 and 20kg respectively.
Utilising state-of-the-art technology, the SR-HSP series uses parallel processing to offer smooth, fast motion in combination with an extremely sophisticated set of control instructions to suit all applications.
