TNA the integrated packaging and processing solutions for food production companies worldwide, is showcasing four machines producing several bag styles at the Total Processing and Packaging Show

TNA will unveil the robag 3fx 320 Rotary Flat Jaw vertical form, fill and seal (VFFS) bagger, integrated with a tna 514 delta scale, a Markem SmartDate 5 date coder and Safeline metal detector, to form block bottom bags for the snackfood industry The integrated indexed take away conveyor will assure that each block bottom bag remains standing after filling to reduce possible breakage and damaged product, and will move the bags to the end-of-line packaging area

This integrated system, which is on exhibit for the first time ever at TOTAL, is the ideal machine to bag fresh potatoes, confectionery, pet food, biscuits and more, in addition to snackfood.

To manufacture pillow bags, tna will display a robag 3fx 180 Rotary Triple Jaw VFFS bagger, integrated with a tna 320 delta scale, a tna Intelli-date 53T date coder and Safeline metal detector.

The machine on display will produce small pillow bags for flat bag widths of 180mm, capable of speeds as high as 220BPM, perfect for the confectionery industry or any snack or high-density product that needs to be packed at a high speed and in a small bag.

tna's robag 3fx 320 Rotary Double Jaw stainless steel machine, will also be displayed making pillow bags.

The robag's complete stainless steel exterior is ideal for the produce industry, such as potatoes, salads and cut vegetables, reducing opportunities for the spread of food borne illness.

Finally, the roflo distribution system will be on display to show its unique servo-driven system that operates in a smooth operator motion using simple mechanics.

The roflo distributes a wide product range, dependent on the product's coefficient of friction, and can be fully configured to meet the needs of any food industry.

Its gentle motion and gateless distribution ensures less product breakage and loss of flavour.

"Our exhibit at this show will display tna's capabilities to produce several different types of bags suitable for a variety of industries," says Shayne De la Force, group marketing manager for tna.
