Five CNC turning machines made their debut - including an 8mm capacity single spindle model aimed at electronics industries - at Tornos' 'Year of Innovation' show in 2005.

In April 2005, Tornos world headquarters in Switzerland opened its doors to customers and demonstrating why it is a world leader in turning technology The 'year of innovation' saw Tornos launch five new machine tools that will add to an already impressive array of products

Spurned by customer requirements and changing market needs, Tornos will launch the 8mm capacity single spindle Deco 8sp machine to compliment the already well established Deco range of products.

The Deco 8sp has five numeric axes with ISO programming and it has been developed for simple to relatively complex manufacture within the subcontracting, electronics and plastics industries.

The second machine at the launch will be the MultiDeco 32/6c CNC multispindle.

This 32mm machine with 19 numerical axes is ideal for multiple back operations and automatic palletisation of components.

This combination makes the MultiDeco 32/6c suitable for producing simple parts to extremely complex components complete.

This additional flexibility makes the MultiDeco 32/6c ideal for the automotive and fluid and gas fitting industries to name but a few.

Tornos specialists are available to discuss the endless possibilities of the new machines with UK customers.
