Tornos names president, allies with
Hydromat

Tornos has appointed Scott Kowalski as president of their US operation and has formed strategic alliance with Hydromat, which will represent Tornos lmultispindle lathes in North America.

Tornos has appointed Scott Kowalski as president of their US operation Kowalski will assume the responsibility for the single spindle operations in North and South America

Scott brings a rich history in the machine tool industry to enhance an already highly skilled organization.

Kowalski has spent the last nine years with Agie Charmilles' EDM Group, with the last five years of his tenure spent as the vice president of sales.

Scott received a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, and is currently working on a Masters Degree in Finance and Economics.

In a continued effort to better serve the single spindle marketplace, Tornos will open a new Tech Center in the Midwest, improving their competitive advantage and responsiveness to their customers.

Tornos will continue to maintain a presence in Connecticut to ensure continued support in the Northeast region.

In another development, Tornos is pleased to announce that they have forged a strategic alliance with Hydromat, headquartered in St Louis, Missouri.

Hydromat will now exclusively represent the Tornos line of multispindle lathes in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The addition of the Tornos line of multispindle machines to Hydromat's line of rotary transfer machines creates the opportunity for both parties to benefit by better serving their customer base.

Hydromat's extensive experience in the marketplace and engineering excellence lends a new dimension to the Tornos multispindle machines.

The alliance between Hydromat and Tornos is a significant development for the precision and high volume production marketplace.

Now, Hydromat will be able to expand its scope, providing the customers the best solution for each specific application.

Hydromat's commitment to the Tornos multispindle operation will include sales, engineering, set-up, service, and parts stocked at their centrally located St Louis campus.

For 27 years the Hydromat organization has served the precision and high volume parts industry and brings exceptional sales and service support to the advancement of current and new markets for the Tornos multispindle machines.

Both parties are excited by this opportunity, creating a true win-win scenario.

The Tornos Multispindle machines provided by Hydromat will be labeled as "Tornos Multi by Hydromat".

The Tornos MultiDECO 20/8b will make its first trade show appearance under the Hydromat banner at IMTS.
