Among three new CNC automatic lathes to be shown at EMO by Tornos will be the Sigma 7, which machines longer parts in watchmaking, electronics and medical equipment.

Tornos will be demonstrating four single-spindle, three multi-spindle and the TB Deco and Virtual Deco CNC automatic lathes at the forthcoming EMO international machine tool show in germany The 'Virtual Deco' will highlight the Sigma 7 shown with transparent guards

Transparency will allow visitors to see what is going on inside the machine.

This 'Virtual Deco' will enable visitors to get a look at the working operation and quality of the machine they can purchase.

Presenting seven machines, (three world premiere's) Tornos will exhibit the new Sigma 7, Sigma 32 and the MultiAlpha Chucker.

The other products exhibited will be the Sigma 8, DECO 13a, MultiAlpha 6x32 and MultiDECO 20/6.

This selection of machines will allow Tornos to demonstrate its expertise in all industry sectors with all types of parts and diameters.

The Sigma 7 iclaims the opitomy of high level precision and cost effectiveness.

It's a machine that perfectly complements the Sigma 8.

Designed for longer parts in the watchmaking, electronics and medical sectors, the Sigma 7 is destined to be a success, said Tornos.

The Sigma 32 is another machine from the Sigma line.

Designed for the production of parts of medium complexity up to 32mm in diameter, this machine has the same successful build quality as the Deco Sigma 20 but provides increased capacity.

The MultiAlpha Chucker is another new machine that allows the end user to produce complex parts on multispindles from billets instead of bars.

This machine tool will work from rough sketches and it should be noted that this is a production part from a Tornos customer Microdeco that is working with Tornos to optimise the machining.

With regard to demonstrations, Tornos will demonstrate by producing parts for the electronic, automotive and medical industries to name a few.

This will allow us to demonstrate a far-reaching scope of highly specialised expertise.
