The Gerdau Group is the largest producer of long steel in America, with mills in the United States, Brazil, Argentina, Canada and Uruguay.
The widely used ARL 3460 OE spectrometer was launched in 1982 and designed for fast and accurate metals analysis in primary plants, foundries, forges, mini-mills and casting mills.
At launch it revolutionised the way analyses were performed and for more than 20 years has provided metals customers with uncompromising development and expert design and manufacture, while keeping abreast of the latest technological improvements.
Thermo was recently presented with two Omega NorthFace ScoreBoard awards for excellence in customer service.
This award winning customer service coupled with expert technical support has also helped ensure that customers are able to adapt and exploit the ARL 3460's capabilities to their best advantage.
