Compact colour vision camera integrates easily

Three-Chip precision industrial colour video camera is ultra light, compact that can be easily integrated into a high speed machine vision system.

Toshiba Imaging Systems Division, a division of Toshiba America and a leader in advanced imaging technologies announces the ultra light, compact IK-TF2 3CCD color industrial video camera.

The miniature 44mm (W) x 44mm (H) x 78mm (D) camera was developed in response to the need for an extremely small package (only 5.47oz) that can be easily integrated into a high speed machine vision system where high definition and color resolution are critical.

The three chip camera features a 1/3in IT-CCD sensor (410,000 pixels), 570 TV (H) resolution, and an RGB micro prism system to capture accurate, computer-ready color images.

With RS-232 serial interface, a 2:1 interlaced scanning system, on-screen menu and C-mount lens flange, the affordable 3CCD camera can be easily integrated into an existing system.

Toshiba's advanced expertise in miniature 3CCD prism technology enables them to produce the IK-TF2, one of the smallest, lightest 3CCD color camera systems available today.

It is ideal for precision color web inspection, food sorting, packaging, color printing and a variety of other tasks involving high speed color imaging tasks.

Other applications include medical diagnostics, military, industrial and scientific imaging.
