The TZP plunge-milling cutter is intended for Z-feed roughing operations in Mold and Die industry The machining of deep dies in the Die- and Mould Industry is often very difficult When applying long tool overhang, vibrations often occur which have a negative impact on the machining result
This low process reliability asked for new milling strategies and tool concepts.
The TZP milling cutter has been designed especially for rough plunging operation.
Large chip pockets ensure excellent chip flow from the contact zone.
The inserts are clamped with State of the art screw clamping and the tool body is protected with carbide shims.
Especially deep moulds for television or monitor housing for injection moulding can be machined at stable conditions with the new tool system.
In addition the TZP milling cutter can also be used for face milling operations.
