Inserts provide excellent surface finish in steels
The Toshiba Tungaloy ASW Wiper inserts give excellent surface qualities for medium duty operations in steels and alloyed steels at high feed rates.
To answer the growing market demands, Toshiba Tungaloy increased its already existing and well-established product range of CBN cutting materials BX310, BX330 and BX360 with the new grade BX380.
The CBN-content of this high performance cutting material determines wear-resistance and application field of the respective grade.
Due to the relatively high content of CBN of 75% with ceramic binder material, the most important advantages of BX380 are realised in hard machining at extremely interrupted cut or unstable machining conditions as e.g high or altering cutting depths (VC 80-160 m/min.).
The newly established, well balanced variety of grades guarantee maximum performance and economic machining in various areas of application.
