The new DS chipbreaker geometry has been specially designed by Toshiba Tungaloy to cover the requirements in this field of application.

The well balanced combination of sharp cutting edges and large chip flow zone together with the fine grain, (Ti,Al)N CBN-coated substrate achieves a maximum result in production.

The inserts feature a (Ti,Al)N PVD-coated wear-resistant fine grain substrate AH120 And have sharp cutting edges for low cutting forces.

They also offer anti-vibration boring at low noise, large chip flow zone and reliable chip control.
