Welding company celebrates 30 years in
business
Tom Palmer (Scotland), celebrating 30 years in the welding supply industry, has changed its name to changed to TPS-Fronius.
Tom Palmer (Scotland) is celebrating 30 years in the welding supply industry To mark this milestone and to underline the close cooperation and mutual esteem that exists between the company and Fronius Schweissmaschinen, as of 14th January 2002, the name of the company is changed to TPS-Fronius

To mark its 30th anniversary, TPS-Fronius has decided to open a third welding technology centre, featuring advice and applications on advanced processes, in the UK.
This is only a change of name; the company ownership will remain unaltered and all commercial details remain the same.

concluded an agreement to import and promote Fronius welding equipment into the U K.
Since then, the name of Fronius has become recognised in the U K as a leading manufacturer of high-tech, high quality welding equipment.
In 1998, a 30-year contract was signed, confirming Tom Palmer (Scotland ).
as a partner company within the Fronius export marketing organisation.
The company currently operates from Kilmarnock, Scotland, and Bilston, West Midlands.
A third depot will be opened in the South of England early in 2002, the responsibility of Keith Palmer, a qualified metallurgist.
The company would like to thank its many loyal customers for making these achievements possible and hopes that these and many others will appreciate the quality of the products and service provided by TPS-Fronius in the future.
