Welding technology centre advises on new processes
To mark its 30th anniversary, TPS-Fronius has decided to open a third welding technology centre, featuring advice and applications on advanced processes, in the UK.
In the three years since the turn of the millennium TPS has had a growth of 34.4%.
The chairman Mr T J Palmer was asked recently "for the magic formula".
This was his reply: "No magic.
"Just the best products, the best process engineers, the best commissioning engineers, the best spares and stores back-up and the best technology on offer anywhere in the welding equipment field.
"As simple as that!".
Hardly surprising that orders received in the first quarter of 2003 are also at an all time high.
With a staff recruitment drive on for all three UK Technology Centres the future is bright; especially for young people starting their careers.
TPS-Fronius Ltd still has 25 years to run with its existing contract with Fronius, the world leader in arc welding technology.
Mr Palmer considers the company to be unique in its employment prospects.
