Assembly technology experience to be
exchanged

Additional speakers attending are Dr Ken Young of the British Automation and Robot Association who will be speaking on recent developments in robotic assembly systems and Gavin Murray of TQC speaking about the developments, goals and challenges for the Eureka Factory E-Race project.
The intention of this two day event is to provide a series of group meetings over two days to kick start new initiatives in the five Special Interest Group areas.
These SIG meetings will be staggered over 3 sessions to allow members to attend three different discussions.
The meetings will be of specific interest to academics and industrialists in the field of assembly technology, particularly mini and micro technology.
The meetings will be interspersed with full group meetings on additional interesting topics relating to current challenges on our community plus a discussion on the extension to Assembly-Net or Assembly-Net II.
This event is open to non-members who have an interest in this exciting area of engineering.
