Providing a complete marking-and-verification solution, users can be sure of receiving the equipment and software that best suits their need, with no concerns over compatibility issues.
With this in mind, industrial marking specialist Technifor has custom designed and built a mobile demonstration unit, which in early 2006, will travel the UK visiting companies who have recognised the importance of traceability and would like to know more.
The Technifor Mobile Demonstration Unit (MDU) will begin its four-week Traceability Technology Tour on Monday February 13th 2006 with two-weeks in England and Wales, followed by a week tour of Scotland from Feb 27th March 3rd, and a week in Ireland from March 6th to 10th According to Technifor UK country manager Cyril Bertschy, the Technifor MDU is the company's response to an increasingly common problem.
"Our customers have less and less time to be offsite, so it is increasingly difficult for all of those in a company affected by traceability to find the time to coordinate a visit to an exhibition or an open house at our showroom in Leamington Spa.
To help, we wanted to find a way to take the technology to our customer's workplace.
The MDU is the answer." On board the Technifor MDU will be a range of the company's marking and traceability systems, including micro-percussions and laser marking solutions, as well as the highly-successful and versatile Mark and Read system popular with UK automotive manufacturers and suppliers.
A small team of qualified traceability experts will be on-hand to advise clients on best-practice and appropriate solutions.
"We already have a busy schedule," says Bertschy, "But we would be happy to hear from companies who would like a visit from the Technifor MDU.".
