Technifor appointed as laser marking distributor
Providing a complete marking-and-verification solution, users can be sure of receiving the equipment and software that best suits their need, with no concerns over compatibility issues.
Based on micro percussion marking technology this groundbreaking equipment provides high speed and marking quality in an extremely compact unit.
Despite measuring just 136mm x 87mm x 115mm, the XF510Cp is capable of producing marking speeds of 10 characters (3mm high) in just 1.5 seconds, making it well suited to high volume/throughput applications in industries such as automotive, electronics and security.
The unit's size makes it ideal for system integrators looking to introduce part marking into production lines or on rotary tables where space is at a premium.

Mobile traceability demonstration unit tours UK
Industrial marking specialist has custom designed and built a mobile demonstration unit, which in early 2006, will travel the UK visiting companies who have recognised the importance of traceability.
Weighing in at just 2.35kg, it is also possible to mount the XF510Cp on robot arms.
Ease-of-use is an enhanced feature of the equipment courtesy of its integrated screen with graphical preview.
Complete with intuitive and user-friendly marking software, the XF510Cp can execute functions in autonomous mode or via a PC link.
Simple to integrate, the new Technifor unit offers USB, Ethernet and RS232 connectivity.
Another new product based on micro percussion marking technology is the Technifor Pro-Pen P5000.
With over 8000 Pro-Pen models already in the field, this latest machine is based on proven technology but with a host of advanced new features, designed and engineered to offer high-speed marking to a wide range of industry sectors.
The P5000 is self-contained and functions without a PC, offering memory capacity far greater than its P3000 predecessor.
Its graphical preview allows users to see the component marking layout on an integrated screen.
Moreover, items such as name plates can be scanned using the optional Windows based software and overlaid on to awaiting parts, while a USB key can be used to save and transfer files as required.
Producing high quality characters at a rate of 5 per second, the P5000 is a flexible and simple-to-use device.
It can mark components up to 300mm in height and, thanks to its robust construction, can mark materials including metals, plastics and polymers and other engineering materials as hard as 62HRc.
Characters from 0.5mm up to 80mm high can be produced in the machine's 120 by 100mm marking zone.
Again, USB, Ethernet and RS232 connectivity make the P5000 simple to network and integrate with external devices.
