Trumpf has recorded increased sales, a larger workforce and even greater commitment to research and development. The 2002/03 results have been positive across all four divisions of the Group.

The financial report from the Trumpf Group for the fiscal year 2002/03 is quite exceptional Whilst other machine tool companies are struggling for survival, Trumpf has recorded increased sales, a larger workforce and even greater commitment to research and development The results have been positive across all four divisions of the Group

Electronics and Medical showed above-average sales, Power Tools achieved growth and Machine Tools met its targets.

Laser remains the dominant force in the Group.

This technology continues to penetrate the global automotive industry and during the last financial year this sector invested heavily in Trumpf systems.

In total a 2.4% increase in Group sales was confirmed and 203 new jobs were created worldwide, the majority being outside Germany.

Even during the tough times, Trumpf has consistently invested highly in its R and D effort and this latest report again confirms this commitment.

Investment rose sharply by 25% to EUR 89 million.

With an economic upturn expected, Trumpf is therefore in excellent shape to meet anticipated sales growth in all its divisions and across all major markets.

Target sales are in excess of EUR 1.2 billion with a projected sales growth of between 6% and 8%. Request free introductory details about products from Trumpf ...
